All at His feet Article

We have as a church here in Indianapolis, Indiana kept a very low profile for the twenty years we've been here. We never recruit (we encourage others to stay in their congregations, unlike what most every other religious body in the country does). We never take anyone's money or even take money for books, nor try to draw attention to feeding or clothing the street people in this city and other countries... We just try to keep quiet and help others as best we can. We have no staff or building or budget or hierarchy, no titles, no rules, no laws, no official mandatory anything -- except to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. Just basic Christianity. It's not for everyone, and that's fine, too.

We don't have an official name because we do not with to create division between ourselves and other Christians. We have every denominational background imaginable writing us or calling or visiting nonstop. And we have wonderful times with them. We have no "dividing lines" between us and other Christians EXCEPT that Jesus be Lord in the lives of all who wear His Name. No doubt the Standard of Luke 9 to Luke 13, for example, is "higher" than most people in the general religious world are interested in. But, that's their choice -- no problem. The Christian Pollster, George Barna, says that only a very small fraction of those who call themselves christians even believe the Bible or think there's any reason to obey what God says in the Bible. That's not where we're coming from, but certainly everyone on the planet MUST be free to make their own choices. Where would be the fun in anything other than that? :)

The members of the church here have been good citizens of Indianapolis, Indiana for over two decades, highly promoted in some of the largest companies in our state, and we count among our number engineers, executives, top sales people, successful entrepreneurs and business people with wonderful families. We have mortgages and pay all our taxes and live in houses in the suburbs, just like many other people. We are just a bunch of friends and families who love Jesus and try to live for Him as best we can, without any pomp or circumstance or recruiting or fundraisers. Just simple kickball games, basketball, eating together, and praying or singing together as opportunity presents itself.
